Hey there little bugs!
I’m Freddie, a polymer clay artist based in Yorkshire.
What started in 2024 as a bit of a joke about my love for bugs has quickly grown into a community of creepy crawly loving folks who have brought me joy beyond words.
Living with chronic illness, I find solace in the natural world, even when I can't always get out into it. That's why I create my bug-inspired charms and trinkets - to bring a little bit of nature inside. Bugs are endlessly fascinating, with their weird and wonderful forms. In a way, they mirror my own experience of being different. Crafting these quirky creations is not just a hobby, but a form of self-care. When I'm feeling cooped up or overwhelmed, immersing myself in the intricate details of a new bug design helps to soothe my mind. It's my way of connecting with the natural rhythms that nourish my mental health, even from the comfort of my own home. Each piece I make is a little piece of that natural wonder, ready to add a touch of whimsy to your life.
My mission is to share my love of biodiversity, bugs, and arts and crafts to teach people that these creatures aren’t something to be scared of, show them what good they do for our world, and bring people some fun and happiness in their everyday.
But why bugs?
